Forestry

The Missouri City Parks and Recreation Department started the first municipal forestry division in Fort Bend County in February 2008.

The purpose of this division is to improve the quality of life in Missouri City by providing high quality "urban forest" in Missouri City parks and properties, as well as provide opportunities for residents to learn about and experience nature in the places where they live, work, and play.
