All members of Missouri City Fire Rescue are considered to be first responders. Many times the fire truck can arrive at a location faster than the ambulance service, which allows more time to help a person in need. All personnel of Missouri City Fire and Rescue Services are trained at minimum as an EMT-Basic or as high as a Paramedic.
Missouri City Fire and Rescue Services provide a smoke detector program in which we will come to your house and assist with installation of new smoke detectors or servicing existing detectors. For more information on our smoke detector program or to schedule a visit please call Judy Rogers at 281-403-4300.
Missouri City Fire and Rescue Services provide tours of the stations, public education programs, home inspections, and demonstrations for the purposes of education. All requests must be scheduled no less than two weeks prior to date of event. Please remember the fire truck and personnel may leave early due to an emergency call, nor can they guarantee being able to fulfill the request. Please contact Judy Rogers at 281-403-4300 for further assistance.
If you smell an odor of rotten eggs in your home, you may be smelling natural gas. Immediately evacuate your home and call the fire department emergency number (9-1-1). Do not open any windows or doors to let the gas out as this makes it harder for the fire fighters to locate the problem.
