Missouri City residents got a glimpse of their future when a master plan for the Texas Parkway and Cartwright Road corridor was unveiled Dec. 16.

Presentations were made April 15, 2008, by Jim Hill of Civic Design Associates and George E. Johnson of George E. Johnson Development during the Public Input Wrap Up meeting.

Mayor Allen Owen executed an agreement between the City of Missouri City and George Johnson Development, Inc., a firm that will work jointly with Civic Design Associates, for the purpose of creating a master plan for the redevelopment of the Texas Parkway-Cartwright Road corridors. This action authorizing the agreement was taken during the January 7, 2008, City Council meeting.
